Dowth Old Church, Co. Meath.
Badly damaged figure on the South wall and hidden by a 19th century gravestone.
I haven’t been to this site yet, so I cannot comment on it’s present condition.

Finally got back to this area after a gap of 30 years. Although I did not sample the commercial side of the Celtic right-wingers, the area is still very much the same.
The sign for the John Boyle O’Reilly Memorial is all that indicates the location of the Castle and church.
The South wall is covered in ivy and impossible to see through it. If anybody has a photo to show the location of the sheela, I would very much appreciate it.
At present I am making enquiries as to whether the stone has been removed to the O’Reilly grave in Boston, if any of the readers can assist, I would be very grateful.
