Clonegal
Huntington Castle, Clonegal, Co. Carlow.
Clonegal is a small town on the Carlow/Wexford border and has Huntington Castle in it’s centre. The castle is well known as a centre for an alternative belief featuring the Goddess Isis.
On enquiring about a sheelanagig I drew blank looks and was informed that none exists there.
You have to follow these leads even if they turn out to be fruitless.
