Ballynahinch

Ballynahinch Castle, Co. Tipperary

Bit of a walk involved and it rained both times I was there. Better bring a brolly. Unfortunatly the figure is now covered in lichen and it’s very difficult to make out any detail. It’s 5m up above the east door inside the keep. Anthony Weir suggests a large anus and unusually, an umbilical hole as well.

Use the northern approach as fording the river would be too dangerous.
