as it is known in these parts, contains this standing stone, known as St. Adamnan’s pillar.

Sheela?…best you make up your own mind but I think it is too old and not possessing any sheela characteristics. Some even suggest that horns are visible.

Oh!, and if you trip over the Ark of the Covenant, I want 10%.

From the carpark, walk up the hill, to the left and into the churchyard with two other interesting stones, you will find the pillar. Best seen before midday as it is East-facing.
